Our trains will carry 1,100 passengers, plus light freight. You’d need nine airplanes to match this. The thing is, the trains start downtown and take just five minutes to load and depart. No trek to the airport or lengthy boarding.

Consider space, too. One rail corridor equals a ten-lane highway, or two airports!

41,600 ROAD TRIPS TO THE MOON

High-speed rail with electric or hydrogen fuel cell propulsion will result in a reduction of nearly 9 million tonnes of CO2 emissions over the first 30 years of operations.

That’s the same emissions as you’d generate by driving to the moon and back 41,600 times, or circling the earth 800,000 times!
