Project Development

The Prairie Link Partnership understands the significance and importance of this project, and given it is solely a private sector initiative, it is important that our philosophy and culture align with the broader interests not just of the Government of Alberta, but of various key stakeholders. Our project development philosophy has five pillars.

 

 

Made in Alberta

We intend to secure the team it will take to permit, design, build, and operate, as well as the debt and equity required, from Alberta.

2. Meaningful Partnerships

Indigenous and industry partnerships will be rooted in transparency and a commitment to share opportunities with Albertans.

3. Innovative Engagement

The Advisory Committee will integrate key stakeholders early so the outcome is a benefit to all Albertans.

4. Economic Development

What are not just building the first HSR in Canada, we are building Alberta.

5. Private Sector Initiative

The private sector can and wants to do this.
